About
Alana Friedlander,
PsyD
Clinical Health Psychologist
Dr. Alana Friedlander is a licensed clinical health psychologist specializing in the intersection of physical and psychological health. With advanced training in psychogastroenterology, behavioral medicine, and sex therapy, she provides evidence-based care for patients navigating complex mind-body conditions.
Her practice is grounded in the belief that lasting healing requires addressing both the body and the mind — and that patients deserve a clinician who truly understands the bidirectional relationship between the nervous system and physical health.

Clinical Philosophy
"The body keeps the score — and so does the mind. True healing happens when we treat both with equal care."
Dr. Alana's approach is collaborative, compassionate, and deeply rooted in science. She works alongside patients' medical teams to ensure care is integrated, not siloed — because the most effective treatment addresses the whole person.
